A/B testing in web!

A/B testing is a testing methodology to perform a better UX (user experience).

It tests 2 or more elements to find out which is better in users opinion.

For example you want to make your website a sign-in button but you doubt which color to use red, blue or green?

Well you can make your decision in many ways, for example by your taste or asking it from your family or friends but what if ask your website visitors directly!

Now imagine test every color in your website for a week to analyze the users feedback .

But this method is not authentic because extrinsic factors can affect your test for example one weak is holiday or your website lose visitor or something else on the other hand this test takes 3 weeks to perform or maybe you have more colors to test. but what if you test all colors in a same time?

In A/B testing for example you have 900 visitors a day it split your visitors to 3 groups and show each color to 300 visitors and you can see which color have more CTR(Click-through rate) and make your decision by your visitors view.
